It was narrated that Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said. There is no god but He - the Living, The Self- subsisting, Eternal.
Asma' bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) reported, ' I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say about these two following Ayahs, i. Ayat al Qursi- Complete recitation (with translation) by Saad Al- Ghamdi. The Supreme (in glory).(Al- Baqarah 2: 2. His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth, and He feeleth No fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High. Nor shall they compass Aught of his knowledge Except as He willeth. Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. His are all things In the heavens and on earth.
